There is a lot of work to be done on this front and we welcome all levels of involvement and support:

• Join the national AAUP organization: Provide material support to the staff who create the infrastructure, do the research, and lobby government officials at the national level. It also demonstrates to the national office that we are interested in AAUP issues at CofC! Once you are a member of the national organization, you are also considered an official member of the chapter.

• Attend chapter meetings and events: We welcome all faculty to our events!

• Contribute to initiatives at the campus level: We always need extra hands to help with our campus initiatives, whether via research, writing reports, or participation in Faculty Senate and committees.

• Join the Executive Committee: Help direct our campus initiatives and set the agenda for our chapter. We have elected positions and roles for other interested individuals.
